                                                 P.        W.       D.        L.

         This Season                    14        10        0         4

         Historical Totals             499      334      15        150

BWDCC has now completed 26 seasons

It looked at one time as if we might lose more matches than we won (which has only happened

three times before, in 1983, 1884 and 1995) but we won our last 7 matches.

4 matches cancelled by the opposition and 6 matches lost to the weather (10 cancellations is a record)

35 players (34 last year), of whom 8 played only 1 game (8 last year).

         28 players bowled (27).

         Personal landmarks:

C.Macadam     1000 runs (but still poised tantalisingly on 49 wickets)

P.Barker          1500 runs

K.Powell         3500 runs (and catching D.Rooke for the position of second highest run scorer)

S.Powell                      100 matches

        Records achieved this year:

Leading run scorer: G.Fergusson 209 runs.

Leading wicket taker: P.Reed 16 wickets.

Only 39 catches taken this year  (39 last year)

One new doctor played (although not a new player) – Doug Johnson.   The total is now 66

Thanks go to John Ogle for an excellent fixture list, to Ralph Hammond for organising the teams so efficiently and to Leathea Stephenson for the most excellent teas for our Sunday games.
